Sheikh's Ferrari filmed racing through LA

A Qatari sheikh has left the US after his Ferrari was caught on camera racing through the wealthy Los Angeles suburb of Beverly Hills.

Police were considering charging Sheikh Khalid Hamad Al-Thani with reckless driving and other offences before he - and his cars - disappeared.

However, they say they are unable to identify who was driving the yellow sports car from video shared on social media.

The Thani family rule Qatar, but it is unclear whether Sheikh Al-Thani is part of the Arab state's royal family.
